AMD announces new DisplayPort-equipped FireMV card
RV770-designer, AMD has now announced a brand new graphics card for the financial and corporate marketplaces. Nicknamed FireMV 2260, the card is said to help maximize productivity while running cool and consuming little power.
Coming with support for Windows Vista, the new FireMV 2260 also offers the ability to view 2D and 3D live video feeds, it has a small form factor, passive cooling and it will be available in two versions - PCI-Express 2.0 x16 or x1. The card is also equipped with not one but two DisplayPort connectors and it has a one year warranty.
Set to become available in April, the FireMV 2260 has a suggested price tag of $249.
